Digital Consulting

I was first employed to give advice around the future direction of Open Sky and what could be done moving forward to grow the presence and authority of the organisation. I suggested that the organisation needed to grow their digital footprint, and, also needed to create high quality official study tools to enable people to participate in their program even if they couldn't get to a class location. Open Sky Qigong proceeded with all my suggestions, helping the organisation grow substantially in both authority and size since their implementation.

I arranged a partnership with a graphic designer and together they produced 2 high quality bound publications that now form the basis of their program.

I performed an analysis of their previous website as staff were finding it cumbersome to use and update. Finding the website not suitable for how the organisation wanted to expand, I suggested a complete website replatform and rebuild. After walking my client through the different options, we concluded that a WordPress website would be the most cost effective and easy to maintain option going forward. At the time, I was unable to take on the build myself, so I set my client up with a developer who proceeded to create the new website. Since its launch, the website has exceeded the organisations expectations in terms of functionality and ease of use.

Internet Marketing

Open Sky Qigong had a laborious 'manual' system to communicate with their mailing list. I walked my client through the possibilities of different EDM systems that would vastly streamline their communication processes, helping them get set up on a new system. Now lead capture is done effortlessly through the website and many aspects of communication with current subscribers are automated, vastly reducing the time it takes to manage.

Social Media

Open Sky Qigong had little social media presence or knowledge, so I walked my client through the fundamentals of social media. Due to time and staff constraints, we settled on Facebook as the primary social channel they would concentrate on going forward. We went through all aspects of Facebook, looking at both organic and paid engagement strategies. Open Sky now employs Facebook as a successful medium to communicate with current followers and reach out to prospective new clients.

Project Management, Video Production

I was employed to create instructional DVD's for Level 1 and Level 2 of the Open Sky Qigong Program. I was responsible for all aspects of this production, from planning, execution, and post production to organizing the production of physical DVD media that was stipulated in the project brief.

In a subsequent production, I was also employed to produce a set of audio meditation CD's for Open Sky. Along with the published books, the DVD's and CD's form a compete home study course that students can take at home anywhere.

Future Collaboration

I am in discussions with Open Sky Qigong to digitally deliver their educational media over my personal development website, ensology.com.
